Executive WordPress theme is a child theme for the Genesis framework by StudioPress. This is a Business WordPress theme with a well-balanced design. Like all good CMS themes this one too has a widgetized custom homepage layout and can be setup easily.
The upper half of the homepage content has 1 widget area and the bottom half has 4 widget areas. Each of these widgetized content sections can be setup with the highly customizable ‘featured posts’ custom widget that ships with the theme or any other widget of your choice.
Click away from the homepage and the rest of content has 2 widgetized sidebars with an option to use one or both and can be setup in different layouts. Like all Genesis child themes, Executive too has all the features and theme options of Genesis.
It has good on-site SEO as well with integrated breadcrumb navigation and the ability to add custom meta titles, keywords and descriptions. One letdown though, is it comes only in one color variant. But you do get the PSD files with the standard package, for you or your webmaster to mess around with and customize the theme.
